We launched our first app.

We’ve built apps before (Spur.us, Dwightfunding.com), but never like this. This one is ours. What started as a hunt for a markup tool that wasn’t confusing and didn’t break the bank ended with us building our own. And once we were in there, we figured: why solve one problem when we could solve two? So we tackled concept displays too.

Meet Gizmonote

Gizmonote is a live, shared point-and-note layer for design review. Drop one script tag onto any app or website and your clients can click anywhere on the page to leave a comment. Notes save instantly to one shared backend and show up for everyone. No logins, no screenshots, no back-and-forth.

Here’s the part we’re most excited about. Gizmonote isn’t only a markup tool. It doubles as a concept gallery: a cool terminal-style display where you show clients your design concepts and let them pick their favorites. Every concept lands in one place, each with a live comment count and a favorite star.
